Truecaller is one of the most used apps in India which helps find out global contact details when given a phone number. Recently Truecaller announced a stack of updated features along with new tie-ups with renowned firms like Google, Airtel, ICICI Bank, etc. The Truecaller and Airtel merger will enable the former to feature phones in India. The Google Duo integration will allow Truecaller users to directly make video calls through the app. In collaboration with ICICI bank, the app has introduced a new payment service called ‘Truecaller Pay’. Users will also be able to send and receive SMSes through it. The application has an all new revamped logo and a flash messaging feature that will facilitate the user to instantly send pre-customized messages, emoticons, etc. to his contacts.

Truecaller app users can link their bank account (any bank) to generate a UPI id to make instant payments that are completely safe and secure. Users can recharge their mobile number on the go from within the app itself. At present, Truecaller has a user base of around 150 million which is quite a lot. Confidential data of the users such as account details, card details, etc. will be stored securely in the servers of ICICI Bank in accordance with the NPCI and RBI guidelines.
