India has not yet participated at the FIFA U-17 World Cup but will for the first time come 2017 when the country hosts the 2017 edition of the tournament and will be kicked off from October 6.

The football song has been released for the FIFA Under-17 World Cup to be held in India in October. It was launched at a ceremony on Sunday. The lyrics of the song are ‘Karek Dikhlaaa Gola’, which is aimed at awakening the feeling of goal. The video of the song is 1 minute 31 seconds, which has been sung in Hindi. Singers and BJP MPs like Babul Supriyo, Papon and Shan are also singing in this video. Bala Devi, the captain of the current Indian women’s football team, is also in this video besides former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar and former Indian football captain Baichung Bhutia, who is called Lord of Cricket from the world of sports.

The tournament will be held on October 6 at Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. India will compete with the US. The tournament will end on October 28 in Kolkata. FIFA Under-17 World Cup matches that lasted for almost a month will be organized in 6 different cities of India. India is participating for the first time at any event in FIFA. The Indian team is placed in Group ‘A’, whose teams are USA, Ghana and Colombia. All matches of India in Group Stage will be played in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Delhi. Some people did not like the ones taken in the video of the song released for the World Cup and also expressed resentment on Twitter. One user said that Sachin has been given a place in the launch of World Cup song and former players like IM Vijayan may be feeling out of the field.
