Sundar Pichai (Google)
Pichai Sundararajan, better known by the name Sundar Pichai is the current CEO of the world’s number one search engine Google Inc. As a CEO, the 43 year old Pichai is responsible of the core tech projects like Google search engine, apps, ads, maps, Android system and YouTube. After joining Google in 2004 he has led many projects including Jive and Chrome.
Satya Nadella (Microsoft)
Satya Nadella, CEO of the world’s biggest software company, is the highest paid executive in the US. Satya has pursued his engineering in electronics and communication from Manipal Institute of Technology. Before getting appointed as the CEO for Microsoft, he has worked under various other roles.
Indra Nooyi (PepsiCo)
Nooyi became the Chief Executive Officer for PepsiCo in the year 2011. She has held the position of product manager at Johnson & Johnson and textile firm Mettur Beardsell. After serving as the CFO and president of the company for 7 years she was appointed the CEO of PepsiCo. After Nooyi was named the CFO in 2001, PepsiCo’s annual net profit has gone up from $2.7 billion to $6.5 billion.
Sanjay Kumar Jha (Global Foundries)
Before being appointed as the CEO of Global Foundries, the world’s first full-service semiconductor foundry, Jha has served as the CEO of Motorola mobility and COO of Qualcomm. He holds a PhD in electronics engineering from University of Strathclyde, Scotland.
Nikesh Arora (SoftBank Internet and Media Inc)
Google’s most high profile employee, Nikesh Arora quit in 2014 to become the vice chairman of SoftBank Corp and CEO of SoftBank Internet and Media Inc. As a CEO, he looks after Internet, media, telecommunications and global investment activities. Nikesh has an MBA from Northeastern University and has graduated as an Electrical Engineer from IIT-BHU. He also has a Master’s degree in Finance from Boston College. Arora was a telecom analyst at Putnam Investments before joining Google.
Shantanu Narayen (Adobe)
Shantanu hails from Hyderabad heads one of the leading software companies of the world. After nine years of joining Adobe, Shantanu was appointed as the CEO in 2007. He is amongst the top paid CEOs of the world. Adobe expanded its products lineup as a result of his appraisable leadership qualities, technology insight and operational proficiency. Narayen joined Adobe in 1998 as Senior Vice-President of worldwide product research and later got promoted to executive vice president of worldwide products. He was appointed to his current designation in January 2005.
